When you're a curious person it's hard to narrow yourself down to just one career choice. My study pathway has gone from a degree in Criminology all the way through to majoring in Philosophy and Journalism. I've travelled and gained incredible work experience. I wrote my first story when I was four and now I want to share important stories with the world. My name is Krystle and I'm studying Deakin's Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Philosophy and Journalism. History was always interesting to me, but it was through my degree that I discovered Middle East Studies. The International study tour shaped me as a person. It opened my mind to the world beyond, to the issues facing the Middle East. After that experience I realized just how many career options there were for me. As a kid I was fascinated by History. Now, I want a career where I can enact change so that we can develop a bright future. My name's Luke. I'm studying Deakin's Bachelor of Arts, majoring in History and Middle East Studies. My VCE subjects were so diverse. All of my passions came together in this degree, from International Relations, to Chinese, and Professional Writing. Growing up, I was always inquisitive about different cultures, now I want to develop policies that empower people within our community.
