Let's take a look at the type of drive train that is on this bike. A lot of different kinds
out there. This particular one is using Shimano and it's used DuraAce which is Shimano's top
of the line drive train. It's using STI shifters in the front really easy to use really intuitive
and user friendly you would do all your shifting and your braking all in one piece here in
the lever. So use this piece to brake, this piece to shift up and this piece to shift
down so it's very easy to do. This particular bike has twenty gears by that I mean you have
ten speeds in the rear and two up front so you have plenty of gears for going up hill
you have plenty of gears for going down hill as well. So twenty gears allows you a very
nice range to ride everything from up to down and everything in between fine tuning every
things built into your brake lever and shift lever. If you haven't used one before it's
very easy to learn and if you need any tips about shifting and realizing which gear is
correct contact us here at Contender Bicycles any day of the week in the Ninth and Ninth
area.
