Letís not get a shadow. Donít be taking up my light, girlfriend. Hey everybody. Welcome to the Mommy and Gracie Show! And welcome to Mommyís Doll Corner. Itís casting a shadow on me. Donít cast a shadow on me. SoÖdonít look at that. Look at me. Pay attention over here. So if you remember a few weeks ago on one of our doll hunts at Toys R Us, the Journey Girls were 40% off. So I got myself a new Journey Girl and we are going to take a look at her today. So the Journey Girls this year are traveling around Italy and the Mediterranean. So this is what the boxes reflect. They also reflect lights. This is Meredith. And she is a blonde. So here are all of the Journey Girls for this year. And Meredith is right there in the middle. And then here are some pictures of their trip. Of course those arenít the dolls those are girls. Actual girls. (Laughs) In case you couldnít figure that out. So Meredith, it tells me, letís read this together shall we? ìMeredith is an awesome athlete.î Oh cool. ìWhose energy and spirit inspires all of her teammates.î And then it says it in different languages and I almost did that thing where read the different languages. So I am going to get Meredith out of her box so we can get a closer look. And Iíll be right back. And sheís out of the box. So here is Meredith. I donít usually buy a lot of blonde dolls because there are so many blonde dolls. I just really liked this hairdo and her outfit. So letís take a top down view of Meredith shall we? There she is. Say Hi, Meredith. Hi everybody, Iím Meredith. There we go. So here is Meredith. Her eyes are just like this really striking blue color. And like I said I really liked this hairdo. So she has this twisty thing that goes into a sort of side ponytail. Thatís then got these differentÖI think I lost a rubber band. Uh-oh. I need to re-rubber band that. I lost a rubber band in the opening. See how that kind of goesÖand thatís such a pretty hairstyle too. I always wanted to do hairstyles like that on Gracie, but she just really doesnít like fussing with her hair so we never got to do the hairstyles. But thatís okay. Look at those eyes. I mean, come on. Those eyes are just stunning. And you know Iím in love with the Journey Girl face. So I love the blush to her cheek and the color of her lips, itís just a perfect rose color. Then her shirt is really cute. And I love the little touches. Thereís little bits of faux leather here and on the pocket. So it takes it from being like sort of sparklyÖitís a sparkly t-shirt. You see that? But it really elevates it from a regular T-shirt. And she Öher sleeves by rolling them up because sheís good like that. And then skirt. I really like this skirt I think this is a really cute skirt. I think it goes really nicely with this shirt and then sheís got pink shoes, which I would probably not do if I were wearing this outfit. But then again, have a seat Meredith, Iím not wearing this outfit. Meredith is wearing this outfit. Letís take a look at the rear view here. And of course you know the think that I love about Journey Girls is that their shoulders and upper chest and back are plastic so that I could put Meredith in spaghetti strap dresses or tank tops and she wonít have fabric shoulders and chest like American Girl dolls do and thatís just a thing with me. I think sheís really cute. Iím excited to add her to my Journey Girls collection. I have to say that this yearís Journey Girls collection, the Mediterranean trip they are on, the Italy trip, I have really liked so many of the outfits and the dolls. I donít know, Iím hoping next year I donít like it as much so I donít buy as many. But as I said, she was 40% off so I just couldnít resist. It just wouldnít be my choice. ìWell youíre wearing a t-shirt and pajama pants?î Donít be telling people Iím in my PJís. ìSheís in her PJís! PJís! PJís alert! Oh and by the way, you forgot to show them my eyelashes, Mommy.î Oh. And of course on of the things I love about Journey Girls is that they do have rooted eyelashes. So there are her beautiful eyelashes. Iím in love with your eyes. Meredith, I love your eyes. ìYouíre in PJ pants.î I love your eyes. ìYouíre wearing PJ pants.î Okay. So anyway, thatís it for today.
