I got tagged! BEAST over at EDC Gear tagged me. He wanted to know my three favorite things
for home defense. He also challenged me to go and tag two more people. so the first thing
I'm going to do is I'm going to tag my two people that I want to pass this on.
The 1st channel I'm going to tag is Christopher Sumpter. There's going to be a link below
in the description box to Christopher's channel. Check him out. Great guy. Chris, you've been
tagged. The second channel I want to tag is kabaruser. kabar's channel is a great channel.
I want you to check out the link below in the description box. Go visit him. Both of
these guys -- if you're not subscribed to their channels, sub to them now!
They put out great work, I enjoy watching both of their channels. Christopher Sumpter
and kabaruser, you've both been tagged!. I want to know your three favorite home defense
items. And then I also want you guys to go out and tag two more people each. Let's see
how big we can get this going; see how many people we can get involved.
Anyway, any of you that have watched my channel know that I'm sort of a prepper, so it's going
to be hard for me to narrow it down to just three items.
Because, as a prepper, we all know that 2 is 1 and 1 is none!
So I'm going to give you three categories but I'm going to either show or talk about
two items in each category. OK, the 1st category is our living defense.
The 1st wave of our living defense is on the screen here behind me. She's not big but she's
loud! If anyone who's not supposed to be at my house - and often people who are supposed
to be at my house - if they're anywhere near the fence, if they're walking down the sidewalk,
if they pull up in the driveway, it doesn't matter. She's going to make sure everybody
in the whole neighborhood knows that somebody is at my house.
So, before anybody even gets to our door, we know when we have visitors at my house!
Our second line in our living defense - The Great Dane!
Seriously, if you come to my house and you see this standing at the door barking at you,
don't you think you're going to turn around? Alright, the 2nd category I'm going to talk
about - again, I'm not going to show you what I've got because I don't think that would
be a good idea, but I'll talk about it, I may put a generic image up here. Home alarms.
We have a home alarm in the house it's set every night. We know when it's going off,
when we leave the house it's set. And like most of them, even if we are at home and up
and walking around, it dings any time any door or window or anything like that opens
up. All right, that's the 1st part of the second line (of defense). The 2nd part - I'm
not even really going to discuss or talk to you about. I'll just let you know that there
is more to our home security system than what most people have - and what most people would
even think about. My third favorite thing for home defense,
again, I'm going to show you two. -- And BEAST, I know you live in CA, but I'm sorry, man
- they're guns!!
All right BEAST, for my third item 1st off, the Kel Tec PF-9. This is my carry gun. When
I come home, it goes on my side. When I go to bed, it's on the nightstand next to me.
Just beyond reach of the KelTec, is my Remington 870 Express (Magnum). Now I use this as a
bird gun and as a home defense gun, so for a home defense gun it's got the longer barrel
on it that I would use hunting, but I have swapped out the grip. It makes it a nice size
easy to work inside the house.
All right, guys thanks for watching, I want to thank BEAST over at EDC Gear for tagging
me. I want to encourage Christopher Sumpter and kabaruser. Make me a video. Tell me about
your three favorite home defense items. And then tag two other people in your videos.
Let's see how many people we can get going on this - see how big we can make this. Again
guys, check out BEAST, check out kabaruser, check out Christopher Sumpter. Watch their
channels, subscribe to them as always guys, thanks for watching TheALOwens channel.
And by the way, Sean, I know it says TheALOwens, but it's actually the Alabama Owens. The A
and the L are both capatialized.
