So, today we're going to go over finding our first couple of notes on the upright and then
we're going to kick it off and start doing some swinging, walking up and down the scale.
Doing a little swing. And it's easy, it's seven easy notes and there's three fingers
you use. On upright, you use your first finger, your second finger and your third finger is
void and you use your pinkie. So you have your first finger here, your second finger
here and your pinkie jumps up to there.
And you always want to leave your thumb in the center of the back there of the neck.
And we'll show you how to find these notes on the bass. It's a easy simple process that
will take us a couple of seconds. And then we're going to show you how the scale is written
out and the actual names of the scale. Again, when you're hitting with your finger, you
want to use the meat of your finger here. So, we'll go through and we'll make it really
easy for beginners, because we're all learning as we go along.
