When I prepare my plaster mix, the amount of water is what would determine
the amount of plaster that will be prepared. I would gently scoop up plaster with my
hand,
open up my fingers and let the plaster fall into the water,
like this. What I'm trying to do is to put enough plaster into my water
and I see islands of plaster.
You can see a little bit now, it's almost there, here we go.
That's it, that's what we're looking for. Okay, I'm gonna just sprinkle a little bit
more,
on the top. Give it a little bit of time and let the plaster soak up the water.
Then open up your fingers like a comb and move through the plaster
in a back-and-forth motion. Then tap the bucket to release trapped air.
