♪ I knew once I got here with Health Quest, that this was the place I wanted to be. You'll find that it's more like a family here. Health Quest is a premiere health system in the Mid-Hudson Valley serving approximately a million people. There are three hospitals. There’s Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck, NY. There’s Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, and Putnam Hospital Center in Carmel, NY. All three hospitals will work together to coordinate like initiatives. The patients always feel so much better when they get services here. What brought me to Health Quest is the fact that they have such a great reputation for good quality health care. I know I give the best care possible every time, every shift. We really see people being much, much more creative in looking at ways to streamline their work processes. Health Quest was the first health system to introduce medical bar-coding. That computer has access to everything so I don't have to run to the nurse’s station to do something, I have it right there in front of me, right at the patient’s bedside. I know we’re being more accurate. You feel more confident about what you do. We have state of the art equipment and we invest money and time in updating our services that we provide. Here at Health Quest, people who enjoy change, who enjoy a fast pace, do exceptionally well. Everyone aspires to be something great and with Health Quest I know that I can grow within. We offer all kinds of education opportunities we have a great mentoring program, a great preceptor program. I am able to go and take on conferences and projects and other knowledge. These committees have been so valuable I think to me because it's actually letting me see the change in my everyday practice I get to encourage the staff to grow; I get to put into place best practice when I go to these conferences. Anyone who has an idea is really empowered to act upon it. I couldn't ask for a better staff, a better group. I think the staff first respects themselves, they respect each other and that filters down to the patients and family. You get to bond and grow together as a group with the people that you're with. It creates a team that I want to be on, I'm learning how to utilize everyone’s strengths to make us one whole team. It's like a family; it's a very comfortable place to work. The staff is taking care of members of the community. Their neighbors, their families and they feel that when they get their care. It's a phenomenal place to work, a place where your ideas are heard and acted upon. You're going to be working with a team that really cares about helping you grow, helping you learn. I do love working here, I'm very proud. Health Quest is the real deal.
