Hello, today is January 10th. This is Brian McInerney, Hydrologist with the National
Weather Service located at the Salt Lake City Airport. This is a Utah snow briefing looking at
the current snow conditions across the state. So let’s get to it.
Snowfall amounts around 6 – 12” across the area with northern wasatch. 6-12” on the Central
and Southern Wasatch. Smaller amounts in the Uinta Mountains.
Northern Wasatch with the most influence on wind and snow placement. Density trends
fluctuating.
Central Wasatch has snowfall amounts with peak snowfall rates of 2”/hr
Uinta’s anticipated to have snow and wind with densities fluctuating.
