What if we were all the same race?
Would all the social problems that exist because of racial discrimination disappear?

So much violence and even wars take place because of race.
But generally, Racism is a relatively modern idea.
The Ancient Hebrews reffering to all who were not Hebrews as Gentiles were endulging in
ethnocentrism, not racism.
The Ancient greeks were among the first to refer to those that were strange of foreign
as Barbarians.
Racism also has roots in slavery.
Aristotle made remarks about slave souls being unintelligent, and unfit to rule.
Modern racism formed on the basis of hereditary inferiority, which was not backed up by scientific
fact.
Over the last 500 years, intellectuals and their books have creative the narrative of
racism.
We have moved forward substantially as society in recent centuries, but racial discrimination
still occurs.
For many centuries, people have been brought up to believe that there are certain attributes
that relate to race.
Things like Intelligence, birth rates, work ethic, abilities, lifespan, aggression, and
even brain size.
This has lead to a heiarchy when it comes to race, meaning, people think that certain
races are better than others.
The very society we live in perpetuates this idea, even if you are not a racist.
When you think about the definition of race, races or subspecies are populations of a species
that have genetic or morphological differences due to barriers or mating.
If no mating takes place between them, they will eventually have a separate evolutionally
history.
Using advances in molecular genetics, we can examine a species and subspecies by examining
the patterns and genetic diversity. in the 1950s, the united nations educational,
scientific and cultural organization, issued a statement that explained that all humans
belong to the same species.
Meaning there is absolutely no biological difference between us at all.
Race is not a biological reality.
Its nothing more than a myth.
This conclusion was supported by the American association of physical anthropologists, the
American anthropological assotiation and a staggering amount of scientific data.
It is believed that in the future, humans WILL be all be the same race.
Immigration, globalization and cultural diffusion is leading to the mixing of genes.
Travel is becoming easier, and racism is fading gradually, leading to interracial couples,
and interracial babies.
Eventually, the dominant genes will take hold of the global population, and recessive genes
will disappear.
In the future, our skin and eyes will be much darker…and ultimately, we will all look
very similar.
Skin colour is not only determined by race, its determined by environment.
There will be somewhat of a variation of complexions even with a mixed gene pool, but we will all
look very similar.
Considering how much blood has been shed over race, perhaps many of the problems associated
with race will disappear.
Im not saying it will be like a magical, futuristic utopia though.
Unfortunately, even if we all looked relatively similar, humans would likely still find ways
to distinguish between individuals, even if those differences are made up.
It is human nature.
We would find other things to discriminate against…eye shape….body shape…nose size.
There would also likely be gene mutations and abnormalities in the population, and therefore,
there would still be reasons to look down on people.
Maybe discrimination wont be about physical attributes anymore.
Maybe humans of the future will discriminate on the basis of gender, disabilities, wealth,
*** preference.
Perhaps the main thing that would divide us is religion and nationality, as it has already
done for millennia.
If we were all the same race, Anger and hatred would still exist.
We will find something else to fight about, because even though we would all be the same
race, there would still be differences between us.
And for some reason, humans often distrust the things that are different.
What do you think the world would be like if we were all the same race?
