Hello my name is Andrew Campbell, welcome to AC Silver.
This fine and impressive antique George III English sterling silver Old English pattern
flatware service has been made for twelve persons.
The reverse of each item is embellished with a rounded heel and pip to each handle.
The service is a straight set made by Richard Crossley, a renowned London silversmith who
is prevalent in producing cutlery; it was made in the date of 1804.
The set is in excellent condition, the bowls of the spoons show little signs of wear, as
do the tines of the forks.
The set incorporates a very impressive soup ladle and pair of sauce ladles which are matching.
At a weight of 88 troy ounces excluding the knives, it is an excellent gauge of silver.
The set is sold in anti-tarnish cutlery rolls which are excellent for storage.
The highlighted features of this exceptional service make it one that could be sold with
my highest recommendations.
If you require any further information or assistance regarding this exceptional canteen,
please do not hesitate to contact us via telephone or email.
