Hi, my name is Reka Morvay. I'm a psychologist and I'm going to talk to you about questions
to ask before you get married. I think the most important questions you should ask of
yourself. Are you ready for this type of commitment? Are you ready to spend the rest of your life
with this one person? What kind of changes will it bring into your life? Do you know
the person that you are marrying? Are you comfortable with their morals and the way
they live their lives, the way they make their choices? Do you agree about the major problem
causing factors in life, such as finances, raising children, what kind of-- where to
live, what kind of jobs to have? What kind of living standard can you provide for each
other? Another question to ask is whether you're ready for a life long commitment? Are
you just looking forward to your wedding day? That's just a one day celebration, but your
marriage is for the rest of your life.
