we're going to talk about the executive orders at the federal level that may be
uh... uh... issued by president obama but before that wyoming is soon going to
be introducing a bill called the firearm protection act and basically
this is going to be something that would would essentially say
if feds want to have been force or put restrictions on firearms accessories to
firearms bullets anne thing like that within our state
there was the wyoming lawyer rely on their taxes their in wyoming is doing
and in texas is doing something it's almost identical
uh... so conceptually the wyoming lot with say
we can arrest federal agents who come into our state to enforce these federal
laws states rights we are we are thus putting their foot down
texas is doing something very similar kind of an arrest the fed's law
now in wyoming
the proposed law
would say that federal agents could be arrested and face a year in jail or five
thousand dollars in fines
texas has to do a bigger as we know the less they are saying what about maybe
fifty thousand dollars in fines to federal agents out of course this is not
going to
happen ir i'd predict
federal agents
will not be arrested
in texas or wyoming enforcing federal of gun control laws what do you think
missus dole joke you will never happen federally can be completely shut down
uh... it's just uh... pastime
in out one of the state representatives who's pushing the law
in texas is steve talked and he says
we've got an administration in washington that is just executive order
happy they're blowing off the constitution they're blowing off our
rights especially our tenth amendment rights and are subjecting the state's to
not even legislation
e-tickets by the cane apparently talking but kino obama i wonder how many of
these in gun not
individual proposals
how mad the individuals putting them forth would react
if a more liberal state decided to arrest high r s agents for not giving
benefits to gay spouses imagine that was what if we had massachusetts for example
letting us do this in a good example but another state if we had
uh... delaware for example pass a law that says you know what
whatever the federal higher s guidelines are about uh... about benefits and tax
deductions for gay spouses if they come into our state and try to enforce those
we will put them under arrest all of a sudden i don't think states rights would
be the big concern correct me if i'm wrong now or what these people would be
saying is
now i know this that's insane i don't what the founding fathers really meant
and uh...
clearly they did not mean to give any rights t to gays and gay couple the
other funny thing about this and with a whole other topic we don't have to get
into it now anytime is
this idea of what the found but founding fathers would do
patently absurd to think that the reactions of the founding fathers would
be anything close to the extreme right tea party reactions that are being
uh... uh... uh... it doesn't that are being
scene
in the name of the founding fathers nobody really how could you really
believe that the founding fathers would be reacting the way tea party rs due to
the stuff right and it's important to remember that most of the founding
fathers were highly educated college-educated
they spoke foreign languages they used a logical reason in science and those who
are all the things that death he party rs don't particularly like mel certainly
not less than a there's also the assumption that the founding fathers
would not do anything differently
if they were dropping this constitution today
you know that yet it would be identical for some reason which is a completely
absurd of course yet
