Hello my name is Eric White and today we're going to talk about how to buy a personal
computer. Now a personal computer is just that, it's yours. So you have to really think
about what's important to you. Are you a gamer? Do you like watching movies? Do you like making
movies, editing movies. Maybe you're a musician and you want to write music and edit music.
These are all very important things to ask yourself when considering what kind of computer
to buy. Now for my money I like really good warranties and lots of good technical support.
There's just no substitute for a good technician. So I encourage you to go out and go to any
of the major manufacturer's websites, do their build the computer section. Every one of them
has a, a build your own computer. Walk through it. Make choices that make sense to you. Some
of them might seem a little lover board. If a software packages is twelve hundred dollars
or seems to be too expensive, it probably is and you might not want to get that software
package. In that situation you want to assess what's most important to you. So go out to
the websites, build a computer, see if what you think will fit your personal needs. Aside
from that, I recommend that you call the company. They have sales people online and they'll
ask you a lot of questions and they'll make sure you get exactly what you need without
spending too much money. It's not like buying a car. They're not trying to put you in a
more car or in a more computer than you really need to be in. And that's how you select the
personal computer.
