Hi! My name is Elton Hall and I'm here at Texas State Optical in Austin, Texas. I'm
here on behalf of Expert Village, and I'm going to show you how to care for your contact
lenses. If you're having problems with irritation, red eye, or anything like that, make sure
that you do consult a doctor because it may be something more than you just having dry
eyes. It can be an infection. You may be allergic to something, but you need to make sure that
you talk to your doctor about it. Most of the time you can probably get drops for it.
It kind of just depends on what you want to do, but I would consult a doctor first, ask
them about it, and then go from there. They will prescribe you something at least, or
they give you something to try to elevate that. Most people have red eyes. I know I
always have red eyes all the time. They're probably red now. It kind of just depends
on what you want to do. Make sure that you get with your doctor. It could be just an
irritation, dry eyes, or something like that. Try not to over wear your contact lenses.
Make sure that you clean your contact lenses more frequently. Make sure that you also change
the solution in your case. That's a big part of it. You want to change your solution out,
but depending on what types of solution that you use. It could be the solution that's giving
you the problem. Just make sure that you get with a doctor and consult them, and you can
go from there.
