It seems Mr. Orozco was tired of not seeing his name on the news and decide to show up again
The stupidity this time, has no sense whatsoever
..."for a change"...
It's true Carmen Muñoz is homosexual, but that's not a reason to remove her from her position in the Human Rights Comission
Even less when Mr. Orozco wasn't removed in his time
having such a radical christian fundamentalism, that interfered directly with his position
Let's remember that being a Christian is a choice
following any God is a choice
but being homosexual isn't a choice, is something you're born with
and there shouldn't be any discrimination due to neither of them
We live in a peculiar society
as an example: a friend of mine was denied a position having a better curriculum than others
just because her future co workers thought that a woman would make them feel uncomfortable
and they even talked about possible harrasment issues from them to her, on the future
That means that we live in a society that's more willing to pander abusers than defend the abused
We cans see the same situation in this case
I mean, how is it possible that Mr. Orozco wasn't removed from his position being openly and publicly homophobic?
It is totally illogical
You don't put a *** to care for children, a misogynist to fight for women rights, nor a racist for color people.
You shouldn't put a homophobe to fight for the rights of homosexual people, I include myself as one
If what this guy says says has any sense
that would mean we have to remove all women from the national women institute,
is that ridiculous
In that case, we couldn't put humans in the human rights commission
if we consider the "suggestions" Mr Orozco is making to remove Mrs. Carmen Muñoz from her position
From a personal point of view, I think Mrs. Muñoz is going to do a good job on this position
because she has had her rights denied
I think that a person that knows what it is to have their right denied, fights with more momentum for them
Of course, the human rights' commission, should have different types of people
Never the less, is important that they have one thing in common, and that is a willingness to fight for human rights
as a concept and as a reality. And defend the ones of their citizens
I hope that they bare in mind, that it would be a huge discrimination to remove Mrs. Muñoz from her position
And I, personally I will not keep quiet if that happens
Before it happens I state my position on the matter
and if she's removed, I think you'll have to hear me and many others on the matter
not only on social networks but on public manifestations
I hope they do the right thing
