Ok so now we are going to actually start working on applying our pieces to our surface. So
you can see that again I've lay it out a little bit, then I understand where I've put things
as a bottom sort of layer so I'm going to move of my other pieces out of the way, cause
I feel like I'm confident enough that I know back where they go. So I'm going to start
with this small area here around this pinkie finger, and I can see that this piece and
this piece should probably get laid out first. So I have my working surface over to the other
side of my board. I'm trying to keep things a little bit separated so I've got my cutting
board under one end because then it's easier to find and get working with it if I need
to. Make some cuts but then I also have my Plexiglas on top of there, laying out my medium
again, much like I did in the other project I was working on. And we're just going to
begin to again do this same process, move that out of the way. Of laying out our medium,
and what I tend to do is I kind of don't work over the whole surface with the medium right
away, I just kind of tend to lay it out in the one area. It's the same principle when
you are laying glue out on anything, you sort of lay it on both ends because it tends to
stick a lot better when you have it on both ends to stick with each other. I'm going to
sort of lay this out and then being a little more mindful a little more careful of where
I'm laying it out, because I have a specific image in mind working with here that I'm trying
to maintain. And you can see even how a little bit of the dye of the paper actually comes
out when I'm using my finger so, just be aware of that as you are working. Ok.
