Hello, my name is Sayo!
I do official cosplays as a side work and I sometimes appear in Lolita magazines.
Nice to meet you!
Today I will cosplay as a character from the anime Hoozuki no Reitetsu: Oko!
Enjoy the tutorial!
As foundation I use the BOURJOIS 123 Perfect Liquid.
It's a liquid type foundation.
It covers really well, so I always use this one for my cosplay makeup.
I use the 24h Cosme's ConcealerUV.
When I do cosplay makeup, I use the whitest color.
As powder, I use the CANMAKE Marshmallow Finish Powder.
For cosplay it is alright to apply it generously, so I apply it quite thickly.
I always use tape when I cosplay.
This tape is from NITOMS and it is kinder to the skin.
This one is the best, really.
It sticks well and when taking it off, it does not damage the skin or give me blisters.
They sell it at local drugstores.
Now, where I apply it...
The character Oko does not need slanted eyes, that is why I will only add it to the outline of my face.
I will first use the black eyeliner from AVANCE.
I will apply it, a little thicker on my upper lid.
This is actually an eyebrow liquid from CANMAKE.
I use this to create a shadow that resembles the double crease of the eye
Next I use the blue from Majolica Majorca's THE LITTLE Humming BOOK eye shadow palette.
I will apply it on the top lid, all the way to the double crease that I drew earlier. I fill it all in.
It is ok to apply it thickly!
I use a brown liquid eyeliner from Kingdom. I use it to trace the double line that I drew earlier.
For color contacts, I use a brand called ETIA.
This brand makes lenses for cosplayers. They come in very vibrant colors and I use them most of the time.
For lashes I chose long lashes that come in separate hair bundles.
It is ok if they look a little strong.
When I do photo-shoots, I pay attention to get a strong appearance.
This character seems to have a strong lower line, that I will I use bottom lashes as well.
I use a white eyeliner from Bibo.
When I added the lower lashes, I created a gap between eye and lashes.
This gives the eyes a dolly look and makes them appear larger. I add it on the outer waterline.
This is the eyeliner from AVANCE that I used earlier.
This character has very characteristic eyebrows.
While checking that they are in balance, I first draw a circle on both sides.
This is a black pencil eyeliner from ETUDE HOUSE.
With this I fill in the inside of the circles.
This is a lip concealer from CANMAKE.
This time I will use it very generously.
It is ok if it looks really thick at the start.
I will apply it first.
In top of the lip concealer I add the CANMAKE powder to give it a matte look.
Next I pick the blue from the Majolica Majorca THE LITTLE Humming BOOK.
I apply it on the middle of my lips.
If you apply all of it on the lips, it will make you look scary.
That is why I add only some blue in the middle.
I add some lip treatment from Pure Smile.
To give my lips some extra care.
Next: Highlights. This is CANMAKE's Glow Fleur Highlighter.
I will use the blue and green tinted shades.
This is Majolica Majorca's SHADOW CUSTOMIZE.
I use this red shadow underneath the lower eye line that I created earlier.
When taking pictures, your eyes will look even more beautiful.
I am Oko now.
Her eyes are her trademark. She looks like the only half-opens her eyes.
That is why I drew the double line, in order to make it look as if my eyes are not opened that wide.
I added lower lashes, to create dolly almond eyes
And I shaved my eyebrows.
There are eyebrow concealers but I don't use those.
Now about the ears...
...daemon ears...
They sell these in the shops, but is you use them like that, you won't be able to hear anything.
That is why I cut the inner corners and so the sound can come in.
There are many other makeup videos! Be sure to check them out!
Thank you!
I am finished now.
I used this on my eyes earlier it's the CANMAKE ... oh no it's not from CANMAKE! Sorry!
The letters on this have already worn off. Is that still ok?
Shall I shave them?
That is up to you.
- The character does not seem to have any eyebrows. - Yes and the shape is a bit weird.
I forgot my own eyebrows.
Oh no my dear eyebrows...
It's time to shave my eyebrows!
How does it look?
Today, I am wearing traditional Japanese clothes: A Kimono!
It's cute isn't it?!
To match this cute pink bunny Kimono, I will create a cute makeup style, today.
Everyone, get into the Japanese beauty mood and try it out!
Today's contact lenses are actually from a brand that I have been using for...
