For the ingredients, we have a can of pork trotters,
slice cabbage, black soya sauce
and ketchup. To prepare the bee hoon, just soak it in water
and make sure that it's soften a little before you use it.
Make sure your wok is hot before you put the oil in. Put a couple of teaspoons of
garlic.
We want to brown the garlic. I can already smell it.
Then put in your cabbage and fry it
until the cabbage is soft then you can pour in the
pork trotters. There will be some bone so just
remove them. Once it's cooks, put a little bit a pepper,
put a little bit of salt to the taste and one cup of water.
Then about 1 tablespoon of the black soya sauce.
You can put more of this if you want it darker. Cook for a few minutes
and then you can put in the beehoon. The beehoon will soak up all the water that
you put in just now.
So just stir the beehoon well and make sure the beehoon is probably blended
in
with the sauce. Once it's all blended in,
just cover the wok and let it simmer for 3 minutes.
You can in a little bit of soy sauce for extra taste.
Looking good! It's already to be serve now.
According to Mrs.Lee, this is a hokkien dish.
