Hello everybody, TheNewAdamb99 here and today in this video, I am going to be showing you
how to use the new snapchat update which includes video calls like facetime, calls like normal
calls, stickers, format text and there's also a change to stories as well. So without further
a due, let's get stuck in! So, I am using my brother's iPod here just to show you the
chat features. So, go ahead and add me on snapchat if you want to. So, first of all,
we'll just go ahead and look up for my brother here so I will type in his username. So, the
first thing you will notice is when both people are in the chat, you can see a little smiley
face appear and then a blue dot appears then. That is to take place instead of the blue
button that usually appears in the bottom right hand corner of the chat. So, first of
all, you can use the ring feature and this basically rings the person so you can answer
or just listen and then both of you are in the call, which I think is a pretty cool and
neat feature. One person however can just listen and it is seen when a little ear icon
appears and that just means the other person is just listening and not talking. You can
end the call by just pressing the little phone icon and then you can just record a little
voice note by just holding it in and then once you're finished, just let it go and then
it will send to the other person. So, as you can see as it appears here, the other person
can listen to it. The next feature is that you can video call the other person and it's
basically the same layout as the call and you can just join if you want to join the
call or you can just watch, I am just going to join here to show you the quality of the
video. So, as you can see it's like facetime almost and skype as it just video calling
which I think is a pretty cool feature that snapchat has included in the new update. Again,
the other person can just watch with the little eye icon down in the bottom left hand corner.
The little blue eye icon. And you can just end the call by pressing the little video
camera. With the call icon, you can just do the exact same and record a video and send
it to the other person. And then the other person can tap to play the sound and then
that's your video snap sent. You can also send pictures from your gallery by just clicking
the little landscape icon and sending them directly to the other person. You can also
send little stickers that snapchat have included which are pretty colourful and you can just
send whatever you like which is pretty neat as well. You can also format the text in the
new update by selecting your text or the word that you want to format and then you can change
it to bold, italic or underline which again is pretty neat on Snapchat's part. The next
feature is a difference to the stories. So, what snapchat have now done is that they have
left snapchat stories run back to back and therefore if you just want to skip a whole
story, you just swipe left and then this will play stories back to back. Now, please do
note this only works with recently updated stories so if you want to replay stories it
will not play it back to back like it would for the recently updates ones. Thanks everybody
so much for watching that video. Make sure to drop a like down below, it shows your support
and also make sure to share it and teach everybody else, how they can use the new snapchat update.
Some people don't really like it but I think it is not bad, I think it is actually a little
bit better because of the video calls and just normal calls feature on the snapchat
app. Also, make sure to subscribe - doesn't cost anything, so you might as well! And that's
it from me everybody, thanks so much for watching this snapchat video. TheNewAdamb99 over and
out!
