Logic pro - Environment - Custom tutorial - Dimension strings

In the Dimension Strings are 8 violins that can be used individually or all together as we prefer. We can load Matrices and Presets for each of the 8 violins, Desk, 2 violins for each Desk, (4 Desks) or all together. Group Matrices and Presets are only available for Vienna Instruments PRO and contain four players each: Group 1 - player 1, 3, 5, 7; Group 2 - player 2, 4, 6, 8. Apart from that, there is no difference to the handling of Desks. In Logic Pro, you can configure the Environment to use according to their own needs all the Strings contained in the package Dimension Strings. In this example I used the Logic Pro - VEP - VIP - 8 Violins with preset default of Dimension Strings. Each Violin has its own MIDI channel, from 1 to 8. I create a Software Instrument Multi-Timbral and I open the window at the Environment. I create 2 multi MIDI instruments. I activated the midi channel for each multi instruments and I change the icon for all MIDI channels, then I write the name of the instruments in the mixer channels. I create the instrument Channel Splitter and connect 8 MIDI channels to the corresponding channel of the mixer. I connect the first Multi Instruments so that the MIDI events are sent to the corresponding channels (1 of 1, 2 of 2). Then I replace the Software Instruments tracks with those of the Multi Instruments, and then I will write the name of the instrument. Now I create the Transform object to transform data from the MIDI channel to direct MIDI to 8 channels. The old favorite from the Multi Instruments will pass through the object then Transform then be routed to the Channel Splitter which will send the MIDI channels to the mixer and finally Vienna Instruments Pro. -- The first MIDI cable allows me to use the first 8 MIDI channels individually, while the cables later allow me to send MIDI events on all 8 MIDI channels. Now I set the MIDI events that are directed at only two Violins. Desk 1 - Violins 1 and 2 Desk 2 - Violins 2 and 3 etc.. Each Multi Instrumets can use up to 16 virtual Cables at most, which is why we must create a second Multi Instruments to use other groupings. Each Transform correspond to a grouping, etc. for each group that I want to do. Violins 1-3-5-7 and Violins 2-4-6-8 I open my Vienna Ensemble Pro Server and I will connect then I open Vienna Instruments Pro, and create the corresponding channels to 8 Violins. Demonstration
