Howdy folks hows it going? Welcome to my *** kitchen today i'm showing you how to make
a cookie in a mug and it is amazing. Looks amazing doesn't it and I really don't
want to do the video it I wanna start eating it tastes so good honestly you must believe
me it is like a freshly baked cookie in the oven it's still gooey inside so so so so so
so good. Now the first step obviously is to grab yourself a mug, now the other day somebody
called me the king of UK cooking videos on YouTube and I thought ok that's cool and bought
myself a king mug so what you want to do with your mug is put 2 tablespoons of butter in
there if it's not already melted whack it in the microwave to break it down and get
it bubbling, just get it until it's nice and loose and if there's a few lumps that's ok.
With the butter melted add the vanilla salt and sugars. We've got a mixture of white and
brown to give it that deep brown colour but if you want to go all caster sugar all white
that's good or all brown so it's nice and deep whatever you want to do mix it all together
until thoroughly combined. Eh yo man you chicken? buck buck.
Add in 2 egg yolks (that's the chicken reference) break them all down mix it all through until
they're combined too. Now we gradually add in our flour so add it in a spoon at a time
that level is gonna raise up just to let you know it won't raise too much in a microwave
but that's how you get that nice rim around it - rim? ok lets not go there but just keep
adding your flour until it's all incorporated you want to get a sort of nice, tacky dough
if you will not too sort of dry and stodgy but not too moist and all over the place if
you know what I mean. Once it's there let it settle before chucking
in your chocolate chips, working it around with a spoon getting it all fully incorporated.
Plonk it in a microwave on 70% power for about 40 seconds by doing it that little bit lower
it'll help to cook it and if you do it on full power you'll see why because it'll explode
out of the top then you'll be left with half a cookie.
After the 40 seconds let it stand for about 5 seconds then whack it back in for another
20-30 seconds until you're nice and happy and it's sort of firm on the top. Put it on
a board to cool down it's gonna be bloomin' hot when you do that so just be very careful
let it sit there before dolloping on cream or ice-cream whatever you want to do and gobbling
it up - it looks amazing, trust me it tastes like it's freshly baked out of the oven, it
is so so good. I wanna get my spoon right here, can you see that? That sort of texture
it's all gooey mmmm so so good. So that is it my friends I know mug cakes are a little
controversial but that tastes so good just like the chocolate peanut butter one I made
the other day. But if you enjoyed this video don't forget to give it a thumbs up, share,
subscribe, comment and all that stuff! I understand if you are too busy and you want to make that
cake that's fine but it would be much much appreciated. But that is how you make a cookie in a mug!
