Krg Austria Newroz Reception 2014

I would like to welcome you, all of you, on this occasion, which is a happy and joyful one for the Kurdish people and all the people in Iraq and outside Iraq. The word Newroz means "a new day". It is the start into a new year for us Kurds, the Persians, for many other people and is celebrated just as the new year in the entire world. And everyone is celebrating to have survived and made it through another year and is looking forward to a new year. Basically it is the same way we celebrate Newroz. Newroz, to us, not only means the beginning of spring but also peace, freedom, tolerance and understanding among nations. At Newroz, we Kurds, meet each other annually and that is beautiful. Happy Newroz to everyone. (AR,KU). Kurdistan and the Kurdish people shall live in health and peace. Wonderful! The food was amazing. The people is amazing. Everyone's happy. Everyone is in a good mood. Very beautiful. Again it was nice to see all the faces again, since everyone is spread and heavily busy. And it is beautiful to meet everyone again. Since acquaintances to us are family as well. To me, today´s evening was very beautiful. It is, in fact, a little bit exhausting. But that doesn't count! The only importance is that the people are satisfied and that the guests enjoyed a comfortable atmosphere. That's the most important thing!
