www.ethic-ads.com Hey guys! Jeff Swartz from Ethic Advertising...I wanna talk about what's going on in my day. So, yesterday I had an incredibly exciting conversation with a friend of mine, who: she is thinking about going into her own entrepreneurial path. And, she's got a couple of different options in front of her, and she has the capability, she has the drive, she has the intelligence to do that. I just sat there and I listened to her, and I was so excited for her; but, I could see the excitement and the fear of the unknown, and "what if I fail" kind of thing. Normally, three things happen whenever I have a conversation with an individual who wants to branch out on their own. First, they do it, and they're petrified. They're unsure and everything, but they are the most energized and exhilarated than they have ever been in their entire career. Second, they don't do it and they keep doing what they're doing. And, normally one or two things happen...they either give up on it and they don't want to talk about it, or they talk about it all the time, but don't do anything about it. So, really, what's the point? And then the third thing, which is honestly what happens probably most of the time in actuality (in my conversations I've had with people): they get a new job, but it's the same job that they were doing, just at a different company. They think that will make them happy, that will fulfill them, that will get them to where they want to be. And, they realize that it's not, and it's just kind of trading one apple for another apple. Then they don't want to talk about their dreams anymore because they think at that point that its too late...which, it never it--just to let you know. But, anyway, I just want to share that. I know that I usually stick to advertising, and this is more entrepreneurial, but it was just a really awesome conversation I was having with my friend yesterday, and I wanted to share it with you guys. So, I guess the question for you is: Which one do you want to be? Do you want to keep doing what you're doing? Do you want to change jobs, but keep pretty much the "same" job? Or, do you want to branch out on your own; and, are you curious about that? I mean, if you are curious about it, you can actually give me a call. I'm actually happy to chat with you, or someone else, about: how does this work? How does it look? What can I expect? And we can definitely help you from the advertising/marketing standpoint; but, me personally, I've done it. I've taken that leap, and it's working out pretty well over the last three years. So, I'm very happy and everything, so I'm always happy to chat with somebody who's going through that kind of decision-making process. So, that's it! Talk to you guys later.
