We've had a bit of excitement, so far, in our final sample hand of Spit in the Ocean.
Let's proceed and see if the stand pat flush to the Ace of diamonds is able to hold up
after the draw and actually win the hand. We look here at this player's cards and we
see that he did not improve. Continues to match his Ace with the wild 5 for a pair of
Aces. That is, alas, a dog of a hand. He folds. And here. Well, we didn't make that flush,
we have a pair of nines. So after the betting round, and during the Showdown, this fellow
puts his cards in the muck. We know about the Ace high flush, let's see what happened
here. Well, too bad about throwing that four away because the long shot four came. Would
have given us four of a kind, would have won the hand. Guess that's a little bad advice
on my part. Ace high flush of diamonds wins the hand, takes the pot, and that is Spit
in the Ocean.
