Hi, I'm Matt Cail and on behalf of Expert Village I am going to show you how to make
a scarecrow costume. One of the last steps in our makeup is that we are going to take
the makeup that we have on the face and make sure that it is properly extended far enough
down the neck so that the collar is going to come pretty close to where our pumpkin
head is going to begin. Now this does not too particularly need to be detailed. You
don't need to have the brown lines on it and I don't recommend any big black other holes
down here. Orange is pretty much enough and adequate to have a nice thin layer of orange
down on the neck here. Take it to about the collar line. Don't get too close to the collar.
You may have a cheap shirt but having bright orange makeup on your collar all night long
is kind of really bad for the over all costume effect you are going for which you can say
is more of a realistic one. So we are going to extend the orange all the way down around
the neck on both sides. And just real quickly here it should not take a lot of time. And
you aren’t not going to need any black. One of the big reasons why I advocate having
more of an understated neck is you don't want the attention should not be here. The attention
should be up here. So make sure and really save your more detailed and intricate work
up on the main face and down on the neck it's just a very, very shallow base layer.
