Hi, my name's Michelle, and I'm a dental assistant with Solutionz, and I'm going to show you
on how you can properly floss your teeth. A lot of people think that just flossing your
teeth is just putting the floss in between your teeth, pushing down, and then pulling
out. Well, there's actually a more better, effective way to floss your teeth. What you
would want to do is you want to start with you know pushing the floss in between your
teeth, and then you want to create what we call is the C motion. You're going to curve
the floss around to create a C, and then you're going to you know, wiggle it back and forth
to you know, break up any debris that you might have, and then pull it out. And you
want to do the exact same thing in the exact same area, but you're going to focus on the
other side. You're going to push the floss down, curve it over to create a C motion,
and then pull, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, and then pull the floss up. You're going to continuously
do this throughout all of your teeth on both sides of each individual tooth, and then therefore,
you will completely remove all the debris in between your teeth, and then you can brush
afterwards. And then, you're on your way to a more healthier, brighter smile and gums.
So once again, my name is Michelle, and I'm a dental assistant with Solutionz, and I just
showed you on how to properly floss your teeth.
