Monster Bass Fishing

So we’ve been here in the US for quite a long time and we’ve been working pretty hard. But being an international hunting superstar is no rest. Never. It’s going to be a tough afternoon isn’t it Randy? Looks that way. Well we better get on with it. Yeah lets hit it. Oh it's a monster! Barbeque them later. You see this Daniel, the master fisherman. Is that a big bass man? Yeah that's a good one. Just ease him out up here. Wohoo, yeah baby. Good job buddy! That’s a little better than the one the other day. Very disappointing, normally the bass I catch are normally half the size of that.Maybe a third. We've seen you in action. Yeah when it comes to fishing I officially suck ***. Yeah. Not too bad when you got the right lure, or the right coach. Yeah what I got is Randy the expert fishing man helping me out. Always very kind. That is a solid little football, nice and fat, healthy. Yeah so tell me about, tell me about these large mouth bass then. That's a very very pretty fish huh. Oh yeah beautiful. Good eating? Wonderful, wonderful! flame grilled man you talk about it is absolutely wonderful. But he’s not particularly big though, we’re gonna put this one back right? No we can keep him out see what you want to do is manage the pond so anything under fourteen to fifteen inches we need to take them out of the lake. That way the larger ones can grow. So what we’ll do is store him in the line and flame him up and have some awesome, awesome golden brown Alabama bass fillets. Good good. So all I need to do is to do three or four more of these, that’s it and we’ve got dinner brother. Dinner. So Randy am I right in saying that bass fishing is considered a sport. No doubt. A technical sport? Yeah. Okay in that case I think I need some more sport nutrition. Now that was what they call hydration Dude I sepnd my life killing management bucks and I seem pretty good at killing management fish. Now that, ladies and gentlemen is why Randy brought me along. Ian Harford, the international small bass fisherman. How do you like that one. Its like a bass but smaller. Like a miniature fish. You caught two decent little fish and now you want to make fun of mine. I didn’t realize you were catching bait fish for us. I told you I’d get this sucker again. Another beautiful fillet, this is a huge fish Randy. This is the stuff of legend, on the deck and everything. It's your dream.He was even too powerful for me you see that. Okay. This is another giant large mouth bass. Like i'm here working for him or something. Beginners luck That’s exactly what it is brother. Long may it continue. So here we go there’s another, this ones not quite as big as the last one but its still going to make for fantastic eating. Let me see if I can do this right. Now I wasn’t particularly good at maths in school one, two, three, four, five. I think I’m officially kicking his ***. Kick a man while he’s down why don’t you. So this is what you call a bream Randy. Well you said it was a monster bream. This is the biggest bream I’ve caught all day. Actually the first bream I’ve caught all day. These make for good eating or do they go back in? There wonderful eating but we’re gonna throw him back because we don’t really have to manage them that much. Okay there you go little fella, I’ll catch you again another day. Yeah buddy. I think you need to remove some of your fish in your little box their buddy. Shall I get out the ones you caught. Because some of those little *** wont fit with him in there. They’ll kind of push out the top when he goes in. So we caught three. I think im in double figures dude. Don’t get me wrong thats a nice fish.But Its just one, one. Yeah. It outweighs all of yours combined I know it doesn’t count. I’m using the American version like they use in the Olympics counting medals. Numbes count dude not quality. Solid, solid,solid.He’s not a cull. No he need to go back in right? He’ll be a trophy one day, good solid fish. See you buddy. So Randy what a fantastic location, and what an awesome night fishing. Awesome it was man we had a great time. You didn’t do too bad yourself. I think I was pretty awesome. I think you know so because every time I managed to hit the water there… you know that little Harford flick.Did you see that? I did excellent..Wher'd you learn that? Well you taught me actually, but half the time I’d catch my lure in my string. You know I was pretty awesome. But you know the scores on the doors. I think im in double figures. I caught some pretty huge bream. I got to be on about eleven bass including the smallest one I thinks ever been caught. And you didn’t do too bad yourself. Not too bad I told you I was fishing for weight you were fishing for numbers Yeah, yeah but I think overall my weight kind of kicked your *** man. If we’d have put my fish in the live well, you probably wouldn’t have had anymore. He’d have swallowed them up.He'd have ewaten them all? Im telling you, i've seen it happen. Yeah it was a pretty awesome fish and actually the timing was brilliant because the camera was right on you. You were there doing your little GQ ready for Bass Fisher Magazine. That's how i roll. Yeah I was impressed well thank you very much for taking me out and now what you’ve got to do is you’ve got to show me how to dress them and cook those suckers. Lets do it.
