>> Lee: The Loch Ness monster!! Nessie, Neessiteras rhombopteryx… DOES SHE EXIST!!! YES!! She
does! After thousands of years of sightings from 565 A.D. to now! Proof! Check out this
spec, yup--- good old google maps, making peoples dreams come true! Here’s what I’m
gonna do… Planning a crowd sourced or maybe kickstarter funded trip to find her… then
I find her, connect, and tame her as my own, ride her like the true ocean dinosaur that
she is… Aw man—so for the kickstarter I’m thinking I’ll crochet a lil nessie…
>> Joe: Lee, I’m sorry… it’s a fake.
>> Lee: No joe, no. PLEASE NO.
>> Joe: Yeah…
>> Lee: But we found her! Through Google satellite imaging, finally the powerful tool of exploration
and monitoring has proven this myth, unmythical! I mean sure it was spotted by members of the
Official Loch ness monster fan club so It’s a little suspicious, but what if they were
the only ones that found her cause they’re the only ones who believe!!!!
>> Joe: Yeah but even the president of the fan club Gary Campbell said the picture looked
like a boat wake… just with the boat missing” but upon further inspection…
>> Lee: Why?? Why are you a dream killer, You know there’s always gonna be skeptics
out there joe! Why is there no boat in the boat wake joe!! Skeptics!
>> Joe: Skeptics or you know facts… like a number of articles have stated this happens
a lot, things “going missing” from satellite imagery cause of how the computer programs
stitch together overlapping images to form a coherent picture of the world below… sometimes
the stitching algorythms go awry…
>> Lee: and sometimes ocean dinosaurs don’t want to be discovered cause they know they
would be exploited, much like the circus elephant or Britney spears.
>> Joe: There’s photos of the boat. Mickwest from Metabunk.org tweeted out an image that
kind of proves it.
>> Lee: you know there are over 20 sightings a year, and that over 1,500 years ago people
in northern scottland even carved nessies picture on stone… and that sometimes its
important to never give up on your dreams.
>> Joe: Yeah.
>> Lee: Hey joe remember that time you told me the loch ness monster wasn’t real and
almost ruined my childlike wonder with facts… thanks for not doing that. ( lee walks off)
>> Joe: Just to recap- a boat not the loch ness monster. Don’t tell lee.
>> Question: so guys what myth do you hope is true let us know in the comment section.
