Before Fruity Loops adopted the Automation Clip method of using changing effect parameters,
they had this system called Event Editing. Which some people still find superior to the
Automation Clip changing. So, we will discuss that too. Here I have set up a basic piano
sound with the Free Filter mod off. And, this is what it sounds like with it on. See, I
want it to go from that sound back to the original sound. What I have to do, is this
has to go up here on its own in the song. So, what I am going to do, is I am going to
put some notes in here, like that. Right click this, "Edit Events." This window is going
to show up. Now, why some people like this still is because it is actually far more specially
designed for editing individual points than the automation clips, which basically just
do a line. You can just draw in where you want it to go exactly. It is very unwieldy
if you want broad spectrum changes. But, if you want very specific details that is what
you want to do. And, this is what it will sound like, basically.
