I couldn't care less about the gift shop. I will not do the limbar.
I didn't come all this way to see nature on a leash. My adventure doesn't stick to a schedule.
I'm here to learn about those who walked this trail before me. To stand where empires rose, fell and rose again.
To devour it, bite by gigantic delicious bite.
I travel for the little details. For the small stuff. For the tiny barely remembered sensations that add up to memories.
This is an experience that doesn't fit inside a viewfinder.
This is yesterday. This is tomorrow. This is now. It's real.
Mom was right - You never know if you like something until you try it. And I'm going to try everything.
