>> Greg: My name is Greg Spencer. I live in Woodridge, Virginia with my family. I go to
school at George Mason University. I first considered being an MBA student when I left
my job in the army as an armor officer. In the military we have to solve problems and
that's really what business school is about. You'll be given a problem, you'll be given
some facts to go along with it, and then it's up to the student to determine what's a fact
and what's an assumption, and what are the different courses of action that the group
can take to solve the problem. For fellow military members out there that are thinking
about going to get an MBA, the skills are transferrable definitely back to a military
career and the skills you learned in a military career are transferrable to what you'll learn
in the MBA program. When I graduate from the MBA program, I will go back to the army and
then I will work as a program manager for army programs. If you spend the time to studying
for it, preparing for it, you'll, you'll do well. And when you do well, it opens up all
kinds of doors for you. At least for me, it was the time that I spent studying for the
test, prepping for the test, I received a great return on my investment and I would
take the time to do it all over again.
