We live a in a world of hate, terror and uncertainty. At a time where we should be coming together, we're drifting further apart. We have to act with urgency. Over the last few months there have been endless attacks on the lives of the innocent. We're always told to remain vigilant. But when will it end? Or has this become the common trend? Far too often I wake up and see there's been another attack. In our efforts we cannot slack. We must protect each other. Brother or mother. Day or night. The future once again can be bright. Terrorism has no place on this planet. If only it were as simple as to ban it. Too many lives have been lost. The line has most certainly been crossed. But when will it end? Or has this become the common trend? We must never live in fear. It only creates a bad atmosphere. We have to stand up for what is right. Be brave and tell them good night. Because we're going to stand up to them. As terrorism is something we most certainly condemn. The war on terrorism will go on. But, one day we will say "we won". There is no excuse for these vile humans that walk the Earth. And I think we can all agree they have no worth. Our thoughts will always go out to those affected. The families must always be respected. But when will it end? Or has this become the common trend? The world is a scary place. In fact, we could call it a disgrace. It's fair to say I'm ashamed. I think we should leave the terrorists unnamed. They don't deserve the limelight. Perhaps we're all just too polite. I long for no hate. And then we can finally celebrate. It's not impossible, I promise. Because one day, we will end the madness.
