Besides tethering, where you can connect through a smartphone, there is also the solution of the 3G dongle. The 3G dongle is connected to the USB Host of the Crypto tablet through a special cable included in the packaging. Before you buy a 3G dongle, consult the 3G Support Information List provided in the Settings, in the menu Wireless and Networks, selecting "More...". This list may be different from tablet to tablet and it is very possible a 3G dongle that is not included in this list to be incompatible with the tablet. After buying the 3G dongle along with the SIM card, connect it to your Crypto tablet and activate the option Data Enabled in the same menu. Also, in the same menu you will find the selection Mobile Phone Networks and by selecting Access Points Names, you are redirected to the APNs screen where you should enter the access data of the 3G connection provider. When you fill the necessary fields with the appropriate values you press the Menu button and you select Save. It is advisable to use the 3G dongle only when there is no Wi-Fi access available as there is a fee in mobile connection. For instances where you want to download large amount of data on your Crypto tablet, like application updates, it is better to do it only through a Wi-Fi connection.
