Welcome to Team Wild's Airpower.
The biggest and best air gun show on the web. And home of big bore air rifle hunting across the globe.
In recent episodes Steve WIld has taken a pigeon with a Benjamin Marauder Woods Walker carbine.
Boyakasha!
We've also taken a look at all the new cool air gun gear at the IWA show in Germany.
And I've been hunting rabbits in Texas with a Daystate Wolverine.

This week we're back in Texas at the Texas hunt lodge.
This is where I took my beautiful old Jacobs Four Horn ram.
And they've got plentiful herds of beautiful sheep here.
But once again, I'm not out for a trophy or for sport, I'm here to help with a problem.
They've got an old Texas Dall Sheep here that's past its breeding prime.
And it has been beaten badly but some of the younger rams in the herd.
He's since been pushed out of the herd, and wanders alone.
The guy's here have asked if I can help with taking him out.
Armed with a Benjamin Rogue .357 big bore air rifle
of course I'm happy to oblige.
With the day drawing to a close, the sun is dropping in the sky, and the shadows lengthen.
That combined with the foliage gives us plenty of cover to stalk in from.
We across, through the brush, in search of our sheep.
Staying in the shadows, we glass and spot our guy feeding in the bushes.
I confer with my guide Justin, and we formulate a plan.
Our sheep all alone, and feeding happily.
We can stalk in from here without a problem as he's surrounded by bushes.
However once we get in close enough I'll need to find a clean shot
to make sure I don't get a ricochet off a branch.
As he's blissfully unaware of our presence, I make my way in.
Using the bushes he's feeding on as cover, I move around the back of him,
and in closer still.
I get within forty yards, and our ram is looking in our direction, slightly hidden by the bush.
He doesn't seem too unhappy with us, and hasn't bolted yet.
Once he continues to feed I set up the sticks.
But he's on us again.
We manoeuvre around the bush and our ram is standing right there in the open.
I get him in my sights
Place the crosshairs behind his shoulder.
And fire.
He makes a dash for it.
We head in, around the corner after him.
And he's on his way down. But I give him one more.
And he's finished.
That is totally incredible.
That's my first ever Texas Dall Sheep.
Taken with a Benjamin .357 Rogue.
What a magnificent animal, what a beautiful animal.
Now as we've said before, this ram here,
The reason we've taken him is because he's older and he's been pushed out the herd.
So he's been wandering on his own that's one of the reasons we've had such a great opportunity to stalk in close
You saw how close we got. We were 27 yards when took the shot.
We were slow, took our time, the sunlight was straight in his face
It gave us an opportunity, just stepping out of that cover and taking the shot.
And as you saw, the first shot quartering on, I think it's got to be my favourite shot with the Rogue
Straight in there, picked his front legs up, hunched up, took a walk
and as he was just about to go down and he's wobbling, put that insurance shot in
we know he was going down no point in making him suffer.
Incredible performance once again by the Benjamin .357 Rogue.
145 grain nosler bullets.
What an incredible rush, what a phenomenal stalk.
And what a beautiful animal.
Let's go and have a look at what we've got.
I'm pretty sure... yeah he's done.
Wow. What an incredible animal.
So what an incredible stalk, managed to get some cover in front of us
snuck up within 27 yards and then finally got a shot off.
Now as you saw it was quartering on, so the first shot once again
would have gone just on the inside of the shoulder here as you can see.
Straight into the heart.
You could see him pick his front legs up
hunch over, he came round about 15 yards, stood there
Just started to wobbling as if it was about to go down.
So I just put a second insurance shot in.
Just to make sure.
Which you can see went straight in behind the front leg, textbook shot.
And that would have taken out both lungs and the heart anyway.
So even if the first one didn't get it, which it did, the second one did the job
good and proper. So really pleased an absolutely stunning a beautiful ram.
Thanks to the guys here at Texas hunt lodge.
Phenomenal estate, great game, perfect conditions for stalking
And now I think I've earnt myself a beer.
