-Floyd Mayweather Jr. may lead an absurdly lavish lifestyle
outside of the ring.
But he doesn't seem to have forgotten
about the little people.
Five-year-old Leah Still, daughter of former Cincinnati
Bengal, Devon Still, was given a 50-50 chance
to live last June after being diagnosed
with pediatric cancer.
Since then, her fight against the disease
has captivated millions, including
one very famous fighter.
So when a surprise pair of autographed boxing gloves
from Mayweather arrived at the Still household,
the profound symbolism was not lost on dad.
He writes, "when she was diagnosed with cancer,
I told her she had to win every round (like boxers, Mayweather
to be exact) of chemo, treatment,
and she would win the fight against cancer."
Leah is currently cancer-free and gearing up
for her first annual, Still Strong Foundation Gala.
