Front plate Back plate Mechanical lock Key cylinder Template Handle Bateries Set of screws As example of a door we will use this piece of wood Ask the carpenter to provide the doors with the hole for standard european mechanical lock First we are going to prepare all doors before mounting the locks Use a mechanical lock and fix it into the door You can use the attached mechanical lock or a temporal one of the same characteristics We are going to use the template to make the lateral holes Put the template adjusting the latches to the template spaces Fold the template using its mark and adjust it to the door corner Make sure the template is straight and mark with a pen the holes Repeat the operation in both sides Drill those holes using the marks If you used a temporary mechanical lock replace it for the one inside the box Now the door is ready !! Inside the mechanical lock box you'll find a conter plate, long screw and mechanical lock If the lock is used in a hotel, this mechanical lock will have a micro switch Insert the micro switch cable inside the hole and pass it through the highest hole Fix it using the attached screws Now put the cylinder The key must be facing the outside of the door Use the long screw to fix it Take the front plate. Please be aware that there are locks for right hand and left hand of the door Pass the cable from one side to the other Take the back plate Split the plate from the electronics Place it If there is an extra cable, please remove it In this example the lock is not entering because the screw of the handle is tightened Unscrew it a bit until it enters Use two screws of the set to fix the front plate and the electronics Don't screw them all way down Connect both cables If there is enough distance the cable extension is not required Gather the cables so they are not pinched when closing the back plate Make sure both plates are straight... ... and finish tightening both screws Place the bateries in its right position Thake the two security screws Please ensure that you are using the right screwdriver for the screw model. If not you can damage it Place the back plate Move the thumb lock to allow the back of the cylinder find its position Tighten the security screws Take the handle and its screw... ... and fix it And that's all The lock will be unlocked untill we program it Right after finish the installation, use the programing card to stabilize the consumption You will see a green led and a bip. It means it is working. Now don't forget to do the commissioning using DORLET software
