ROAD USING A GLASS BOTTLE TO
MAGNIFY SUNLIGHT.
POLICE SAY HE ALSO USED A FLINT
LIGHTER TO SET THURSDAY'S FIRE
NEAR CENTER POND ROAD, THAT
BURNED NEARLY 200 ACRES.

FIREFIGHTERS FIGHTING IN FIRE IN
DANGER AND PUT THE HOMEOWNERS
AND COMMUNITY OF STODDARD IN
DANGER.
IN ADDITION, HIS ACTIONS CAUSED

KORS COURT DOCUMENTS SAY THAT
PLANT GRE TOLD POLICE THAT HE
SAW TWO SUSPECTS AND THAT THEY
FLED ON A FOUR WHEELER.
PLANTE HIMSELF HAD BEEN USING
HIS OWN FOUR WHEELER TO MOVE
AROUND THE FIRE.
HE'S BEEN SUFFERING FROM MENTAL
HEALTH ISSUES.

E.R. HERE IN CHESHIRE COUNTY ON
FRIDAY, PRIOR TO HIS ARREST
WHERE HE WAS DIAGNOSED WITH
ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION.
REPORTER: THE JUDGE SAYS WHILE
HE DOESN'T BELIEVE PLANTE, A
HUSBAND AND FATHER, IS A FLIGHT
RISK, HE DID BELIEVE PLANT WAS A
DANGER TO THE COMMUNITY AND SET
BAIL AT $100,000.
NOW, THE DEPUTY FIRE MARSHAL
SAYS THAT HE EXPECTS THERE WILL
CASE.
