I fell in it when I was young, because
I had a father and mother that loved Saint-Emilion wines.
I was since the beginning in Saint-Emilion so, of course,
I don't remember something special, but I have many memories.
In England, there's an open air theatre
and people come with a pinic table,
there are many that open champagne, and I remember bringing a Saint-Emilion,
a great Saint-Emilion since it was a Clos Fourtet 1929
that was incredible,
and eventually, I shared some with my neighbors,
I wasn't alone
because you should always drink with someone, that's what is nice
but I also had 2-3 neighbors that told me that
they loved that,
so a bottle for two is nice but
for four or five, it's even better.
Saint-Emilion is a complex terroir,
so here, at first glance, there are four terroirs, but in fact, there are thirteen
so for me, I would see a cat
because you need time to get it in perfect conditions, to really understand all its terroirs,
the terroirs' magic is incredible because we are on the Saint-Emilion plateau,
so we're on fine wines, graceful wines that age in an extraordinary way,
it seems that they are a little frail in their youth,
but as they age, they become more beefy.
