Hi. This is Chuck Boyk again. In a personal injury case,
we are dealing with the insurance adjuster for the other side.
The insurance adjuster is typically a trained professional whose job is
basically
to settle the case for the least amount of money possible.
Throughout the legal process of your case, we're going to be in constant contact with the
insurance adjuster. Initially, we're going to send them a representation letter.
We will be in contact with them to discuss what the status of your
treatment
is, and then at the end of the case, we're going to send them a demand
package. In the demand package, we're going to have a nice, long persuasive letter,
in effect, giving a chronological order of your
treatment, talking about what the impact is on your life,
putting in there reports from your doctors talking about what future
problems you're going to have,
and that the treatment was proximately caused by the accident.
In effect, the demand package is our way of communicating
with photos, reports, medical records, and analysis
what the value of your case is. In order to deal with the trained professional of
the insurance adjuster, you're going to need an attorney
to, in effect, sell your pain and suffering in order to get you
the fair value, so you don't get taken advantage of by the insurance company.
