Right now you are going to see exactly how you don't jump a head jump. Obviously it was
a little bit exaggerated; some of the wiggling there really didn't need to happen. But a
big thing to keep in mind as I've said a couple of times already when you are jumping, is
staying relaxed. It is really probably the most important factor on whether you are going
to ride out of a trick or not. Basically what happens is as soon as you start landing anything
other than perfectly and if you are all tensed up, basically your body won't be able to relax
as reflexibly as it otherwise could because your own muscle tension is going to be constantly
in the way of that. You know that you'll end of kind of shaking rather than just allowing
yourself just to ride out. A bike itself has its own natural gyroscopic forces which is
why if you jump off your bike it will keep going. What you have to keep in mind is that
you can make those gyroscopic forces work for you. The issue there is you have to let
it work for you and the big part of that is staying relaxed. Making sure that when you
land and this is the big issue mostly where you are landing because that is where people
tend to tense up is just to stay relaxed and the bike if you weren't on it would ride out
perfectly. So allow the bike to do that and just stay on top of the bike. As long as you
can make sure you are going to keep relaxed and keep looking ahead, then you should be
able to ride out of a lot of things that you otherwise wouldn't.
