What are some good MMA videos out there?
One of my personal favorites, I don't know the gentleman personally but everyone knows
of him is Greg Jackson out of New Mexico. When he teaches he's very instructional, he'll
tell you exactly how to do it just through a video. It's kind of like having a private
lesson with him.
There are a few other people out there who are great. They can be the world's greatest
champion but that doesn't make them an instructor. You know so always look for a connection to
the person on the video. I know it sounds a little weird but if you can understand what
they are saying and you can picture what they are teaching you from a video then that's
a good video.
Like I said one of my favorites is Greg Jackson, another one is Jeff Speakman. Jeff Speakman
has great American Kenpo tapes out there. Trevor Sherman out of California, he's phenomenal.
Greg Silva is phenomenal for teaching you how to teach kids. There is a guy up north,
Paul Garcia, he is great also.
So always remember you want to look at the video and see if there is something you can
learn from it, then it's definitely worth having. That's what I would recommend for
MMA videos.
