So I'm here to talk to all the small companies out there who I think have
a real need to utilize staffing and recruitment firms in their employment strategy. I actually
have three reasons why I think using an employment firm makes sense for small businesses out
there. My name is Aaron Grossman and I'm the president and founder of Alliance Staffing
Solutions. Alliance Staffing Solutions is a minority owned employment firm that offers
specialized staffing services regionally while offering recruitment expertise nationwide.
The first reason I want to talk today is about cost control. As we all know, small companies
don't have the resources or real need to hire a full-time recruiter, especially if you're
only hiring one, two, three people a year. What I would consider is working with a recruitment
firm like Alliance to be somewhat of a shared services model. Where as you might utilize
us for those one or two hires per year, pay a small fee, and actually save money from
hiring a permanent person. Another thing about working with a recruitment firm that makes
sense is expertise. As we know, as we work with small companies on a regular basis, the
small companies, they're working on their core responsibilities to help drive business
profitability. They are typically not interviewing people all day for the one or two hiring needs
they may have a year. Well, working with a recruiting firm that has expertise in maybe
a specific area you are looking for that's what they do all day. So they interview, they
have actually methodologies and processes around that so they can find top talent very
quickly much quicker than a small company that may not have expertise and they can align
that person with your company an a fairly consistent basis. Finally another strategy
is the temp-to-hire strategy, is working with a staffing firm. Staffing firms typically
can stage, basically, an evaluation period for potential employees you might want to
consider for hire. While they're, that staging evaluation period, staff firms take on all
the responsibilities including payroll, payroll taxes, workers compensation, unemployment,
basically providing small companies with little risk, and that gives you time to figure out
does this person, are they able to do the job? Are they able to fit in, from a cultural
perspective, into your company? So I think, you know, working with a staffing recruitment
firm makes sense, especially if you're a small firm. If you're looking for information about

my name is Aaron Grossman I'm the president of Alliance Staffing Solutions, hoping you'll
make it a great day.
