When you indicate to vcMaster that you wish to join a conference using Movi, you will be given a link and you just click on that to connect to the conference.

It is also possible to connect directly to another Movi user within the UHI network by typing their name in the box provided.
As you type, you'll see a number of names appear in a Search box underneath.
You can add a contact to Movi if you have the details.
When you see the program window, you're ready to use Movi. It pretty much configures itself.
There is a settings icon at the top right which presents you with another window and you can control how the application runs
and you might want to adjust the video quality depending on the bandwidth available to you.
Similarly, if you want to show a presentation, you might want to reduce the bandwidth for incoming video, or vice versa,
but you probably won't need to change these settings if you're within the UHI network.
Notification sounds refer to the sound that's played when someone is calling you.
Movi will pick up the audio and video devices that are attached to your PC or laptop.
When you connect to a conference or another person, your video window will open.
If it doesn't click on the icon at the top right of the program window.
If you bring the mouse into the area of the video window, a toolbar appears towards the bottom.
Clicking on the first icon displays self view in a small area so that you can see whether a clear picture is being transmitted.
Clicking on the next icon switches the video off altogether and the third icon mutes the microphone. The fourth icon enables you to adjust the volume.
The fifth icon switches to full screen mode and the Escape key will take you back to a normal sized window.
The second last icon is the one which enables you to send data to the other participant in the conference.
When you click that, you'll be asked to select which of your open applications you want to share and you just select it.
You'll then see your data in a small window and the other participants will see something like this.
When you want to stop sharing data, click on the same icon and then select "Stop sharing presentation".
If data is being shared by the other participant to you, your screen will look similar to this.
