and proudly collaborate with them to start tackling these issues. From high school graduation rates.
John Gomperts: High school graduation is an extremely important achievement
for an individual because it makes it possible either to get a job or to go on to further education.
Narrator: Water Scarcity Namrita Kapur: Companies need to pay attention to water,
because water shortages pose a risk to operation, supply chain, and the community
to where they operate. If we don't act now, we'll soon come to a critical point where
water won't be that available. Narrator: To keeping our roadways safe.
Maaz Rehan:If a person texts while driving is 20 to 30 times more likely to be in a car crash. People know
that texting while driving is a risky behavior, and a recent survey shows that 97% of teens said
that texting while driving is dangerous, but 43% still admit that they do it anyway. Narrator: To supporting veterans.
Cheryl Henderson: In august of 2005, I was at work
when Katrina, Hurricane Katrina happened. And I told my boss I had to go.
And she said "go ahead, just leave me a copy of your orders,
don't worry about anything..." I didn't have to worry about my home; I didn't have to worry about my family.
