My name is Corey Martinez, and I am a professional BMX rider.
I'm bringing my friends on this trip to go film and ride motorcycles,
go camping, and just enjoy the open air.
Red Bull Ride & Seek
MIAMI, FL.
Stopping at Robbies to feed the fish and to tease them, is awesome.
You know, you tease them for a little bit, and then I think they get kind of angry
and they get you.
[Tony Neyer] Yes! That was so sick.
Ow! [Laughter]
Woah! *** dude. Holy ***.
They go almost to my elbow, man. I only had a little bit of fish.
It got my whole hand there. Oh that is scary scary dude,
because there is, like, seventeen fish just preying on you.
You don't know which one is going to jump, and when they do, really scary.
But it's awesome because they don't have teeth, so apparently
they can't bite you.
That was pretty awesome. Probably the craziest feeling
I've felt in a long time. They're big fish but you
wouldn't think they could like, jump that high up,
so, that was a surprise. It was a pretty awesome experience too.
Apparently you can get fish poisoning from its -- the thing is, after you are done
you have to wash your hands then, they surprise attack you with some peroxide.
Now my hands are on fire.
We came up on the Seven Mile Bridge and that's when the storm pretty much
just fell out. The weather is crazy down here. I don't know if he said
anything about us too far, but hurricane Andrea is right in the mix of her breath.
And we're getting blown all over the place. [Unclear] and we got to take a break.
And let the wind go down a bit. I don't want to go across in this weather,
but we're have to eventually. We are going to make it over there
no matter what we have to go through.
There is nothing we could really do. The storm was strong and heavy winds
that we had to load up the bikes into the van and take it rest of the way.
Oh!
Everybody at that bar was so syked, for no reason.
They are like heats. They are in the heats, no partying, more partying.
Getting prepared for Key West!
We're hanging out in Key West right now, hopefully we get a chance to ride.
Weather-permitting, we might actually get some clips, but not, we're just going
to enjoy our last day here.
Back to tally back to paradise.
It would've been cool to ride but it is so hot and humid.
It always kept looking like it's going to rain. We found a couple things that looked alright,
but like, we're not finding anything that is super sick.
You know, it's the last day of the trip and we've really have covered
some land and covered some distance. It was nice to just enjoy the last days
instead of stressing out and try to get anything done.
This is one of the tourist spot, pretty much it comes [unclear]
which you got to check out. This whole area is sweet,
there's a bunch of bars and shops and tons of dudes walking around.
The cops are after us.
It's Key West. All about living. Can't stop us now it's the last day.
We lost Carey.
I didn't really know what to expect coming in to this trip.
It was a lot of miles from the beginning when you make it all the way down
to a place like the Keys you can't help but to feel like such a bit
of accomplishment. Having an opportunity to take Garrett and Tony onto this trip,
was really cool. Because I know that they haven't have very much
motorcycle experience. Seeing how nervous and scared they were on these bikes in the
beginning and how confident they are at the end of it, I have no doubt
that they're going to go home and try and get a motorcycle for themselves.
It's really opened my eyes to what I can do with my bike now,
It's like a whole new way of looking at it. - You know, we're going to *** do it again!
It's just dope to travel with your friends and you know, we're not distracted by
TV's in our own hotel rooms, we're just camping.
It's like there is nothing to do besides sit on these benches and talk.
It's dope because it's inspiring. Because I want to do my own trips
where I take my bike and my motorcycle and going to do my own thing.
I knew coming on this trip that you know, I'm not 100 percent,
but I just want to go and enjoy it anyways. I pretty much have to convince myself
to do something. My shoulder hurts, constantly. So I just have to pick and choose
whether or not to deal with the pain or just let it go.
-First *** try. -***, so good.
-Ah, that felt so amazing. -*** amazing.
I think the best thing you can do if you are younger, do your own thing,
be yourself. Do what feels right. Don't follow other people's leads,
just do what you want to do that's what BMX is all about.
It doesn't take much to get on the road, to like, go try and explore things.
Once you are on the road, it's so worth it when you start experiencing
new areas. You're a kid, and you are riding BMX bikes, and you think
your scene sucks, like, dude it ain't even about that.
It's about taking your bike out to places, you know, travelling,
you want to be doing something. You know, finding a dope crew to be
able to travel with is pretty much the best thing ever.
Get out there and do stuff. Have fun with what you enjoy, whether it is motorcycles
or camping, BMX, skateboarding, wade-boarding, surfing, snow-boarding,
whatever, you know, just like, do something that is fun. Enjoy life.
