Why Don't We - Band talks hearing themselves on the radio

We're throwing it back to our interview with the Why Don't We boys when they opened up about hearing their song on the radio for the first time. Zach Herron, Jack Avery, Corbyn Besson, Daniel Seavey and Jonah Marais couldn't stop thanking their fans for their success when J-14's Liam McEwan caught up with the Why Don't We members on the red carpet at 102.7 KIIS FM's Jingle Ball 2017. While chatting with the squad, they recalled the first time they ever heard themselves on the radio. Turns out, the very first time Why Don't We played on the radio – the boys were just about to sit down at a fancy Italian restaurant when they got the news that they were about to play in 5 minutes. So naturally, they had to sprint to the car to make it in time to tune in. You know, casual. Like we go home for the holidays and stuff so when we're home sometimes we just hop in the car and whatever the radio station you know pop radio station there it'll be playing on there and you're like what do you remember the first time you've heard yourselves on the radio where we what was the situation how'd you react? we have the exact story so so we're actually going to this really fancy like Italian restaurant is like a nice round table like candle lit everything and then right as we're about to sit down we got a call saying we're gonna be on the radio for the first time and like we were five blocks down from our car too so we ran out of the place yeah yeah it was like we were going on like five minutes to so we had a run and we also like hopped over a fence as well we were like doing some crazy stuff you've got it you've got to be there the first time you oh yeah what station was it?
