This is Sean for Expert Village. In this series we're going to talk about a 540 tire tap.
It's a fairly complicated back wheel trick. It involves rotating momentum, your brake
and just a lot of things that come together and make it work. First up you're going to
want to come up the ramp at a fairly quick pace and you're going to want to land on your
back tire all grabbing your brake as tight as you can so that way it doesn't move. You
are going to want to lean in and kind of follow with your head and do a complete 540 rotation.
That is going to be 1 1/2 ways around that way you can go back and land. A lot of people
and myself included instead of rotating on one spot on the wheelie we'll do about a 360.
Let go of the brake a little bit and do a manual or a wheelie back to the edge of the
ramp. Once you get to the edge you are not going to want to go straight down like this.
You are going to want to curb it one way or the other that way you can go in real smooth.
Again you are going to need a brake and a lot of spinning rotation to get this trick
down just right.
