Taco Salad - Avocado on the half shell recipe - Southern queen of vegan cuisine 22/328

Hey my Sweet Vs, it's The Sweetest Vegan here. It is actually still the same day as yesterday and I still don't match. Don't actually know whats going on here, but we will be making yet another salad. But it is going to be delicious because it is a taco salad. Here we go. Taco Salad - Avocado on the half shell As you all know I hate iceberg lettuce so for this salad, I decided to go with avocado on the half shell. Cut the avocado in half and take the seed out. This recipe is really simple because now we just have to top it. I have this wonderful mango salsa. I was going to go with traditional tomato salsa but when I saw this, I had to try it. I want to try something new, like all the time and you should too. You can use just regular tomato, cilantro and lime just if you want, but I just wanted to use a salsa. Keep it really really simple. I also used vegan sour cream. You all know I use tofutti brand. I . . . what is that? The birds again. I also found this wonderful blue corn chips that are organic and GMO free, and non hydrogenated oil and just goodness all around. So I had to just stick one into the avocado. It looked so cute and so beautiful and I'm all about the cute and the beautiful It makes it taste so much better when it looks good. I loved this taco salad. 1. Because there was so iceberg lettuce in sight. 2. Because I love avocado. Can eat all of them. 3. The salsa was really good. I didn't expect it to be hot, but once I got into it. It reminded me of conch salad. I have a lot of family in Miami and from the islands and we eat a lot of conch salad during special occasions and it was so good. It is like a seafood, citrus-y, tomato like mixture, of like goodness in your mouth. It was really delicious. Even though the mango salsa was a little bit spicy, it was immediately cooled down by the creamy avocado and the vegan sour cream. It all went so well together. Thank you for watching the show today.
