Firefighters in San Francisco have been tackling a giant blaze which engulfed a construction site.
The huge fire swept across a nine-storey building, which was due to become a 360 unit apartment
complex in the Mission Bay Neighbourhood.
About 150 firefighters were called to the scene on Tuesday.
San Francisco Fire Department officials said the fire was more difficult to contain because
the building is under construction and the building's fire suppression systems have not
been completely installed.
No one has been injured.
