Hi, my name is Rhon Mizrachi and I'm the head of Krav Maga Federation in the United States.
I also own my own school in Manhattan on 25th St. I have been teaching Krav Maga for over
30 years. You can visit us online on kravmagafederation.com. Today, I'll demonstrate for you Krav Maga
Let's cover some punches. First one will be a left punch. First thing that you want to
remember about punches is that they are making contact with a big knuckles. And the only,
those two big knuckles, nothing else. You also want to maximize the amount of impact
that you are creating. Therefore, you want to concentrate the energy directly straight
forward. And try to rotate your punches on impact, trying to create a bigger damage.
So from basic stand my hand will go straight out, will close in the way out. Make contact
and rotation. Elbow will never be entirely locked. And the punch is finished only when
the hand comes back for protection. So it's a full motion going out and in.
Let's do it together slow. One, boom. One, boom. One, boom. Let's do it a little quicker.
One. One. One. Let's do it much quicker. Aye! Aye! Aye! Right punch. Right punch. A slight
disadvantage because your left foot, your right foot, sorry, is to the rear, and therefore
your right punch is not as long. Therefore, you must create a pivot, which is a rotation
of your body. And your shoulder is pointing directly towards the target. So from here
it will be one, you're going to drive the elbow. Impact and rotation of the fist. Contact
only with the two big knuckles.
Slowly. One. I need rotation. Two, ya. Three, bah. We're hitting faster. One. Two. Three.
Much quicker.
Left and right is a combination of the two. Both punches coming into the same spot. Which
is just the face, in a spot about this big. We're hitting it together. One, left, right.
One. One. A little quicker
